Do you have a big leaguer in training who could leverage one-on-one instruction? Try private lessons! In this concentrated format, young baseball players (6 - 14) will learn the skills needed to reach and prepare them for their current or next level. Pope Baseball Academy's highly trained, licensed, experienced coaches will arrive at a park or school in your neighborhood either after school, evenings, or week-ends.

The private lesson experience includes:
Beginning: Throwing (point, step, throw technique) and catching the baseball, hitting off of batting tee and/or coach pitching, fielding the ball and running the bases.
Advanced: All the above basic skills, plus four-seam ball grip prior to throwing, hitting (step, pivot, swing) mechanics, practice off of Jug Jr. pitching machine or live pitching, advanced fielding positions and techniques, learning double plays skills, and running bases correctly. All this and much more!
Coaching: Working with parents and coaches on how to teach the kids the right skills and techniques while at the same time making it fun.
